From the Holy Cross to the summit of Kobyla Góra we follow the red walking trail, and from Kobyla Góra to Łagów - we go along the green trail. Bycicle pilgrims who stay overnight in Nowa Słupia should take the provincial road No. 756 to Łagów and only then take the marked Świętokrzyska Way of St.James.
We descend from the Holy Cross to Trzcianka. Next, through Kobyla Góra (391 m a.s.l.) and the valley of the Łagowica river we reach Łagów. From here to Raków (in the 16th century it was an important center of the Reformation in IInd Republic of Poland) we go through the Cisowsko-Orłowiński Landscape Park. After Rakow, we cross the Łagowica River and walk along Lake Chańcza. Then we reach Kotuszów through the the Czarna Staszowska Valley, where next to the church of St. James, we meet the signs of the Lesser Poland Way of St. James.
