The trail from Pasierbiec leads along asphalt roads with little traffic through the lower hills of the Beskid mountains. After a few kilometers from Pasierbiec it is worth coming to the 16th-century church in Nowe Rybie, which is visible on the right. Then we reach the slopes of Kostrza mountain (730 m a.s.l.) and then we traverse this mountain. Following the green walking trail signs we head to Jodłownik. The sixteenth-century wooden church is particularly interesting in this town. The functions of this church were taken over by a new parish church. Further on, we pass the cemetery from the World War I and the nineteenth-century chapel. Szczyrzyc was established as a settlement by the Cistercian monastery existing here since 1234. This can be seen to this day because of the preserved medieval urban layout.
