6 km north from Brzesko there is a town called Szczepanów, i.e. the place of origin of St. Stanisław - bishop of Cracow, martyr (1079) and one of the patrons of Poland. It is worth to include this place in your pilgrimage program. You can visit there: the neo-Gothic basilica of St. Mary Magdalene and St. Stanisław with the altar founded by Jan Długosz; the nineteenth-century birth chapel of St. Stanisław and the eighteenth-century cemetery church of St. Stanisław built in the place where, according to records, stood the house of the Saint.
In Porąbka Uszewska, we pass by The Grotto of Our Lady of Lourdes and the church of St. Andrew. Through the forest we go to the top of the Bocheniec hill with the church of St. Anne and an impressive panorama. South from the church there is also a spring named after St. Anne. Going down the hill we reach Okocim. On the left we pass the church of the Holy Trinity and the palace of the Goetz family - the founders of the well-known local brewery. Heading north we come to Brzesko - the city whose patron is St. James. The church located in the vicinity of the market square bears, since 2018, the title of the Sanctuary of St. James.
