The trail leads from the sanctuary of St. James in Więcławice Stare for the famous "Papal Window" in the Palace of the Archbishops of Krakow in Krakow. We pass through the suburban villages of Zdzięsławice, Książniczki and Bosutów to enter the Royal City of Krakow. The medieval center of Krakow with Wawel, Kazimierz and Krakow was in 1978 included on the first UNESCO World Cultural and Natural Heritage list. Currently, there are over 30 pilgrimage centers and sanctuaries in Kraków. In Kazimierz, i.e. outside the course of the Lesser Poland Way of St.James, on a hill above the Vistula bend (currently an undeveloped area, next to the playground at the back of Wietora Street), from the Middle Ages to the end of the 18th century there was a church of St. James the Apostle. In the sanctuary of St. John Paul II in Białe Morza in Krakow there is a chapel dedicated to St. James.
