The Klettgau region is an area where the Swiss cantons of Aargau, Zürich, and Schaffhausen as well as the German state of Baden-Württemberg have territorial shares. We move within the boundaries of the "Schaffhauser-Zipfel" in the east, the Wutach in the north, and the Rhine in the south. Shortly before the end of the stage, just after Homberg, we encounter the Wutach for the last time; its waters will shortly thereafter continue as the Rhine.
Anmerkungen
The pilgrimage route from Konstanz/Kreuzlingen along the Rhine to Basel is called here "Hochrhein-Weg". A whole series of pilgrimage routes from Bavaria and Baden-Württemberg intersect with this path.
