Rueggisberg-Schwarzenburg

Today's section will take us over a distance of 10.4 km with a walking time of about 3.0 hours from Rüeggisberg to Schwarzenburg. We can expect an easy day's stage. We start the hike heading west at the Rüeggisberg monastery ruins and follow the signposted paths. At 928 m altitude, we also leave the highest point of the day's stage. After about 3.0 km, we cross the Schwarzwasser and turn right after the bridge. The path today leads us over asphalt and natural trails. We follow the field path until shortly before Schwarzenburg after about 8.0 km we cross Thunstrasse to then enter the town center of Schwarzenburg on Milkenstrasse.
