Aesch - Beinwil

Today's stage will lead us over a distance of 20.1 km with a walking time of around 6.5 hours from Aesch to Beinwil Monastery. We face a difficult day stage. We start the hike on Aescher Bahnhofsstrasse and follow the signposted paths in the direction of Eichberg. We walk past Pfeffingen and reach Grellingen after about 5.0 km and a short descent. The path continues along the Birs until we turn into the Chaltbrunnental and follow the Ibach. After about 14.5 km we arrive in Meltingen. Here the path begins to rise for the next 3.0 km. After about 17.5 km we reach the highest point of the day stage at 877 m elevation. We descend and reach Beinwil Monastery. The path today leads us over asphalt and natural paths.
