Beinwil - Welschenrohr

Today's stage will take us over a distance of 17.2 km with a walking time of about 6.0 hours from Beinwil Kloster to Welschenrohr. We are expecting a difficult day stage. We start the hike at Beinwil Kloster and immediately cross the Passwangstrasse. We follow the signposted paths and climb up to Hohe Winde. The trail today leads us over asphalt and natural paths. After about 5.5 km we reach the mountain peak at 1,204 m, which is also the highest point of the day's stage. After a short descent to Scheltenpass, we maintain this altitude for the next 4.0 km. The path continues through the Thal Nature Park and after about 12.0 km, near the Tannmattchopf, the descent begins. We pilgrimage through the Wolfsschlucht and arrive in Welschenrohr.
