Krempin, a pretty place

There was something to defend here
Another observation: many dispersed settlements here often have the same names and differ only by prefixes such as "Neu" (New), "Alt" (Old), "Gross" (Large) or "Klein" (Small). "Alt Karin" and "Neu Karin" are both located in the "Carinerland." What you also often see, especially on the map, is a place name and "Ausbau." Will this settlement always be called that? Thus studying, we come through woods and fields to Neubukow - pronounced "Neubuko."

A wise saying to take to heart
Note(s)
The pilgrimage route along the southern shore of the Baltic Sea has various names, for example in Germany also "Baltic-Westphalian Way of St. James." Eastward from Poland, the designation "Pomeranian Way of St. James" is common. In this documentation, we stick to the cross-border name "Via Baltica," partly because of the shortness of the name, and also because pilgrims to Rome or even Jerusalem can also use it.
