
Brochenzell
Over the Kreuzberg from Weingarten beyond the hill of the former Welfenburg through the forest at Lanzenreuter Weiher, wild animal enclosure Locherholz, barbecue area and panoramic view into the Schussental past Albertshofen to Ravensburg with Liebfrauenkirche, museum quarter with Humpis-Quartier and three-aisled basilica St. Jodok. The old trading city Ravensburg is called "City of Towers" because of 14 towers such as the white Mehlsack or the Veitsburg with youth hostel. After passing under the tracks at the station, crossing the four-lane Meersburger Straße and the Schussen river, past the Mühlbruck chapel and through the Weststadt residential area out of the city with a view of the former Premonstratensian monastery Weißenau with two baroque towers. Through the forest with playground and hut to the viewpoint Säntis view through a long forest section to the Hungersberg manor with pilgrim chapel, further to the hamlet Stengele with a view of the Laufener Bonifatius chapel with valuable figures. Over the hamlet Reuter, then following the Schussen river to Brochenzell with the church St. Jakobus.
