St. Johannes Salzkotten

The stage starts at the Church of St. Johannes in Salzkotten. It passes the graduation tower. The route leads through the source area of the Heder near Uppsprunge first to Geseke. There we make a detour northwards to the Collegiate Church of St. Cyrakius and the church of St. Petri. Nearby is also the old town hall by the pond. The yellow shell on a blue background shows us the way again, so that we can largely do without the support of maps.

Anmerkungen

This is the fifth stage of the Höxter-Dortmund Way of St. James. It leads from Salzkotten to Erwitte.

Note: Between Geseke and Störmede, a side road to the north towards the roundabout is planned as an extension of the road leading from the Siechenlinde to the B1. Once this is completed, pilgrims can bypass the B1 via this route.
