Pilgrimage - preferably single trails
We start with the Netra, which we follow westwards to Wichmannshausen. Here the Netra flows into the Sontra, which flows northwards coming from the south. Behind Hoheneiche, the Sontra also ends because it flows here into the Wehre, which comes from the west and then turns north here.
Thus, we end the hike downstream and follow the Wehre, this time uphill. We hike via Bischhausen to Waldkappel, where our stage ends today. Despite mountains on both sides, we only climbed about 60 meters in altitude and descended about 130 meters.
At the stage location Waldkappel, our route recording ends in front of the Saint George Church.
Anmerkungen
Three Elisabeth paths lead as ecumenical pilgrimage routes to the tomb church of Saint Elisabeth in Marburg. We use one of these 3 pilgrimage routes to get from Eisenach to Marburg as a stage towards Santiago.
