The highlight of this stage is the medieval tower in «La Clause». It rests on a large boulder, somewhat crooked, but obviously quite stable.
In Sauvage, we come to an estate that belonged to the Templars in the 13th century. Whether this is our accommodation today I would still like to find out.
Anmerkungen
The Via Podiensis begins in Le Puy-En-Velay and leads us to St. Jean Pied de Port. It corresponds to the long-distance hiking trail 65 and is marked with the shell and red-white bars.
