After this small clearing, we come to a good path, but almost without shade, on the embankment of the Rába River. We cross highway No. 1 and later go under railway tracks and the M1 motorway. When we reach the Börcs-Ikrény junction, we cross a bridge and continue on the embankment of the Rába River on the other side.

After leaving the embankment, we approach Lébény, and upon reaching the town, we can already see the towers of the St. James Church. We quickly reach our final destination, one of the most important Roman Catholic churches in Hungary, now a historical monument. Lébény offers not only sights but also accommodation and restaurants.

The St. James Way in Hungary from Budapest to Wolfsthal runs continuously on the western or southern side of the Danube. Wolfsthal lies slightly southwest of Bratislava, so the continuation of the route from Wolfsthal westward becomes a path for pilgrims coming from Slovakia.

On this stage, we always follow the St. James Way markings.
