The road still leads through a flat lowland landscape. In small Krzywina, it is worth to take provisions for further journey. Behind the village of Miąskowo we cross the Obra-Samica canal and reach Świerczyna. Then, by the road between two lakes we enter Osieczna, where we can visit the Franciscan church dedicated to Saint Valentine. Second, parish church of the Holy Trinity was a simultaneous church during the Reformation, i.e. it served both Catholics and Protestants. When Leaving Osieczna, we pass three windmills on the hill, two of which, called Jan and Józef, from the 18th and 19th centuries are open to the public. On the other side of the road there is a post-Evangelical cemetery with the tomb of the chess grandmaster Tassilo von Heydebrand und der Las (died 1899). The trail leads through the woods towards Leszno and on the outskirts of the city changes into a bicycle path.
Tipp des Autors
At the exit from Krzywinia the trail leads along a rather busy road - please be careful.
