This stage of the Pomeranian Way of St. Jakub leads first through the suburban areas, and then moves to the area of strict urban development, where historic buildings and park areas dominate. It is worth spending some time exploring the historic center of Gdańsk. We reach the center along Długie Ogrody street, after the bridge over the Motława river we turn towards Passenger Harbor and walk along the waterfront to Mary's street. We pass by St. Mary's Basilica, the church of St. James by Łagiewniki street, Solidarity Square with the Monument to the Fallen Shipyard Workers 1970 and further in the direction of Wrzeszcz, and then we reach the Archcathedral in Oliwa.
