We leave Elbląg by a drawbridge along Studzienna street and then we turn right. The landscape changes completely: the trail now runs through the flat depressed areas of Żuławy. We are surrounded by drainage canals and watercourses. We encounter numerous traces of the settlement of Dutch Mennonites who drained the wetlands of Żuławy, which enabled the development of agriculture. We also pass arcaded houses in Żuławy. Crossing the bridge over the Nogat River, we leave the Warmińsko-Mazurskie voivodship and enter the Pomeranian voivodship. Behind the Nogat, in the village of Kępki, there is a post marking the distance to Santiago de Compostela.
