After passing in Włocławek through the Vistula river, the trail leads through another historical region - Kujawy. The trail leads out of the city through a dense buffer zone of forests covering dunes and sands. Further on, the trail leads through a moraine plateau on which black soils have formed - one of the best soils in Poland. In Kujawy, there are the oldest monuments of Romanesque architecture in Poland (from the 11th and 12th centuries). There is a large part of the historical and cultural "Piast Trail", which runs, among others, through Strzelno and Kruszwica, Brest Kujawski and Włocławek.
