Mazovian Way of St. James begins at the Cathedral of Martyrdom of St. John the Baptist in the Old Town in Warsaw. It is not only the seat of the Archdiocese of Warsaw, but also the resting place of Mazovian dukes, bishops and people important to the culture and history of Poland. The route passes through the Old and New Town Square, which is on the UNESCO list, The Sanctuary of Bl. Jerzy Popiełuszko in Żoliborz, and the "Bielański Forest" reserve. Then, through the North Bridge, we go to the right bank of the Vistula - to Tarchomin and further on, through the outskirts of Warsaw, we reach Nowy Dwór Mazowiecki and Modlin.
