From Bochnia, the road leads to the subsequent hills - this is the historical course of Via Regia, as reported by the roadside signs. We reach Łapczyca. The road continues to Chełm by the Raba river, whose history is related to Order of the Holy Sepulchre. A historic stronghold towers over the village. We descend to the Raba valley and then to Targowisko and to Szarów, to the border of the Niepołomicka Forest. Walking through the forest (which was once the favorite hunting ground of Polish kings) we come to Niepołomice.
