After two mountainous sections, this stage is a rather flat one and leads through the Żywiec Valley. From Rychwałd we go to Żywiec, where, after crossing the bridge on Sól river, we enter the area of the Silesian Beskid mountains, we also leave the historical Lesser Poland and enter Silesia. Walking through Pietrzykowice, Kalna and Godziszka, we are constantly accompanied by the view of Skrzyczne - the highest peak of the Polish part of the Silesian Beskids, which descends along a steep slope of several hundred meters to the Żywiec Valley. Our daily destination - Szczyrk - is, next to the Wisła the most important tourist and sports center in the Silesian Beskids. Here, the sanctuary of St. James is also a destination point of the Lesser Poland Way of St.James. From here, pilgrims from both routes wander together towards Cieszyn.
