    This variant of the Way of St. James leads over the idyllic district of Wald and the 94 meter high Benni-Raich bridge to Arzl in the Pitztal. On this route you will not only find many cozy accommodations but also the Ander´s Hofschank in Wald, which offers homemade delicacies, the Bungy Stüberl, directly at the Benni-Raich bridge with a wonderful view over the gorge, and in the center of the village Arzl the Cafe Herz As. The rest of the route takes you past the village church on a leisurely forest path to Imsterberg. Ried - Schönwies - above Schönwies in the Obsaurs district is the St. Vigil Chapel - further towards Kronburg after approx. 1 hour you will reach the Kronburg ruins.
