Mozart Cycle Path - right bank of the stream - Strub - milestone 15 miles to Innsbruck - Hotel Brandnerhof - forest path to main road, keep left - follow main road - keep left at the gravel pit - forest path towards Kneipp facility - Seisenbacher Quelle - TURN of the variant via St. Adolari, the Pillersee, St. Jakob in Haus to St. Johann in Tirol - continue in the direction of Waidring Dorf, the church is already visible - follow the signs on the left along the asphalt road to reach the village of Waidring - along the main road you will find the driveway to the Steinplatte - At Brandtner schnapps distillery keep left and follow the gravel cycle path - the cycle path leads idyllically along the creek and mostly in the forest to Erpfendorf - in Erpfendorf at the church straight on following the B 312 to the underpass on the other side of the road - after reaching the cycle path along the Großache follow this on the left - the cycle path upstream leads directly to Ki rchdorf - following the cycle path you will reach St. Johann in Tirol after approx. 1 hour.
The «Jakobsweg Tirol» consists of two main routes leading westwards, namely a northern one that leads westwards from Kufstein along the Inn valley to the Arlberg, and a more southerly feeder from Lofer (Salzburg) on the same route. The southern main route leads from Nikolsdorf near the border with Carinthia along the Drau to the South Tyrolean Way of St. James in Italy, on which you can then decide to return via the Brenner to Innsbruck in Tyrol. or to continue on a pilgrimage to Müstair at the beginning of the alpine Graubündner Jakobsweg in Switzerland.
