Hiking through Miradolo Terme and Camporinaldo, we get to Chignolo Po which is the last community in the province of Pavia. We will be fascinated by the «Castello di Chignolo Po», built during the 13th centrury and extended during the 18th century. Nowadays, this castle is hosting 2 museums dedicated to local activities, specifically to agriculture and wine growing.
When leaving Lambrinia, still being part of Chignolo Po, we reach the river Lambro, which forces us to a detour in order to cross the river on the main road North of the village. This is where we touch grounds in the province of Lodi. It´s another hour of hiking between here and our destination Orio Litta, where we will see another castle, the baroque «Villa Litti Carini», dating back to the 17th century.
