From Ponte a Rigo to our destination, we will have two alternatives, the newer and slightly more hilly trail on the right hand side of the Fiume Paglia, which is away from traffic, and the traditional trail mentionned in former documentations listed here as «Variant A». This one follows the Via Cassia on the left hand side of the Fiume Paglia. Whatever alternative we choose, the altitude we reached yesterday will be gone once we have reached Ponte a Rigo.
At the southend of our destination Acquapendente, we will find the «Chiesa del Santo Sepolcro» with a crypt carried by 22 columns. Ee can find a copy of the tomb of Jesus Christ inside, the original tomb is located in Jerusalem, at the end of another historic pilgrims trail.

Die Etappen sind in dieser Dokumentation Vorschläge, die jeder Pilger seinen Wünschen anpassen kann. die technischen Daten betreffen aber immer die Annahme, diese Etappen würden jeweils an einem Tag absolviert.
