We do start in the province of Rome today, and this will not change any more for the rest of our pilgrimage. Rome by the way ist not only the capital of this province, but also of the region named Lazio, plus the capital of... By the way, our today's destination «La Storta» is part of the city of Rome, and some may want to get to the ultimate destination in one single day, some may need another day.

Suburbs of most mega-cities are not specially attractive, much traffic, a mix of industry and large blocks of flats, a lot of noise, dirt and exhaust gas, and Rome is not different. It's everyone's individual decision whether the personal objectives do allow to use public transport in this situation.
