    Towards the end of the stage to Puente La Reina, the legendary Templar church "Santa Maria de Eunate" lies on the left off of our route. We leave the main route in Muruzábal and after about 3 km we reach the Templar church. After another 2 km we return to the «main route of the Camino, Francés» at the church of San Juan Bautista at the end of Obanos. In the end, we only extended the stage with this variant by just under 4 km.

    Anmerkungen

    The Camino Francés starts in Saint-Jean-Pied-de-Port at the French foot of the Pyrenees and ends in Santiago de Compostela. It is the most frequented section of the Pilgrim's Way to Santiago, because most pilgrims finally come to Santiago on this axis.
